Swimming Pool Builder Prospect, KY:
Case Study #1
Do you live in Prospect, KY, and want a swimming pool built in your backyard? But maybe you are confused about which features you want, and you’d really like to know how much the pool will cost? Read on because we plan to answer all those questions for you!
Family with high school-aged children building a new home on their farm in Oldham County, Kentucky. Recently relocated to Kentucky from Florida, where they owned a boat and lived on the beach, so this family wanted water recreation to still be part of their exercise, relaxation, and entertainment. They also wanted to be the home where the friends of their high schoolers come to hang out, so a pool was a natural choice for them.
These homeowners moved into their new home in mid-March 2018. After they unboxed and set up their household, they quickly got busy making plans to add a pool to their gorgeous, farmland setting. It took about 45 days to plan the pool, write the contract, and order the pool and equipment. In mid-July 2018 Tony started digging the hole for a new pool. It took 50 days to complete the project. The spillover spa and the concrete paver features added to the timeline for this project. As a bonus, the family was able to enjoy their pool late that summer!
This project was a good mix of easy and hard aspects. Because they were on a large farm, space and getting the pool shell to the backyard couldn’t have been easier. One of the most challenging aspects of this project was actually digging for it. Excavation for a pool is just like digging a basement for a home – except it’s harder. The homeowners an intimate atmosphere in mind, so Tony knew he was going to put the pool as close to their home as possible. Very challenging to be digging, with large equipment so close to a brand new home!
